Establishment: January 2, 1989 (Government Gazette 12/5-1-89). It is listed in the Societe Anonyme Register of the Department of Societe Anonyme of the Ministry of Development with Register of Societe Anonyme Number 18586/06/Â/89/22.
Main offices : Lygias, Nafpaktos, were the production facilities are also located. Its management is housed at the offices of the branch which are at Pefki, Attika (40-44 Ag. Georgiou Str., 151 21)
Activities :
a. production of cotton combed yarns and
b. design, development and production of fabrics with an emphasis on those for making shirts and trousers.
Production units - capacity :
A. Spinning Mills: The company has installed two spinning mills, with main production equipment 21 RIETER spinning frames from Switzerland. The spinning mill (I), built in 1988 has a production capacity of 10,000 spindles and the spinning mill (II), built in 1997, 10,000 spindles housed in an ideal, industrial building with state of the art air-conditioning units. The overall annual production capacity is 3,700 tons of cotton combed yarns and 1,250 tons of cotton by-products (Average daily operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 360 days a year or 1,080 shifts).
Â. Weaving Mills: The company owns two weaving mills, with main production equipment 60 textile masts, from DORNIER, Germany and SULZER, Switzerland. The production capacity is 1,500,000 metres with staff being employed 240 days a year on 3 shifts per day.
Buildings - Land : The buildings of the factory occupy a surface area of 20,590 m2 on privately owned land of a total of 37,900 m2. The Company also owns a building in Pefki (40-44 Ag. Georgiou Str., Pefki, Athens 151 21) with a surface area of 2,527 m2 on a plot covering a total area 2,560 m2, that was built in 1989, and is used for storing products and merchandise. The offices and the product showrooms of the company are housed on an additional floor (leased) of the building in Pefki with a surface area of 500 m2.
